Whitish below. The snout is relatively broad, granular;
in adults the distance between the tip of the snout and
a point midway between the eyes is less than twice the
width of the head at the level of the eyes. |

| Grey
or olive-brown above, with darker mottling on the flanks.
Whitish below. The snout is smooth, long and slender;
in adults the distance between the tip of the snout and
